Another heirloom level Custom Taylor Grand Concert 12-Fret. Ordered for our shop at the Taylor ‘Catch Custom’ dealer event in Anaheim, CA. Held annually as part of the NAMM Show, these guitars showcase the talents of Taylor’s master craftsmen in El Cajon, CA. Very limited availability.
Sporting a stylish Florentine cutaway, this custom 12-fret Grand Concert is a showcase for its back, sides and top of neo-tropical mahogany, specially selected for its striking ribbon figure. It delivers a bold midrange character with a dry, focused quality that emphasizes the fundamental note and minimizes ringing overtones, with improved volume and sustain thanks to the V-Class bracing inside. Visually, this acoustic-electric exudes meticulous artistry, with an appointment package that includes a Split Diamond rosette design with koa frames and abalone fields, Boxed Wave fretboard inlays with abalone waves and koa frames, a mother-of-pearl peghead logo, a smoky ebony peghead veneer, and polished bronze tuning machines. This model’s full-body gloss is finished with a hand-sprayed shaded edgeburst to highlight the mahogany’s rich grain. It ships with ES2 electronics, a TaylorSense monitoring unit and a brown deluxe hardshell case. Just wow. 🤯
